Brockton - March 15, 2025
Saturday was a beautiful day on the streets of Brockton as we served 53 meals of Shepherd’s Pie across 4 locations. It was the 3rd Saturday so we had a full-load of clothing and toiletries, and more people came for the supplies than for the food. (There were a number of other organizations out serving food, which is a positive sign as more people take notice of the dire circumstances we’re seeing.) The team had volunteers from Church of Emmanuel, Beacon Covenant Church, Attleboro, St. Mary's Foxboro, and Grace Chapel.
We were dressed to celebrate St Patrick’s day, which made it more fun and the smaller crowds gave us time to talk and minister to those in need through prayer.
- Stanley has experienced a lot of theft, and now finds himself living outdoors again. He had is nephew with him so we are praying for both of them.
- Jackie was looking good, and is now living in New Bedford caring for his mother
- John (new guy) was very pleased to get clothes and food and was thanking Jesus for our ability to serve him.
- Francisco is looking do good and is so thankful now that the wound from his hernia has closed up. He looks thin again!
- Manny is praying for his family and the Holy Spirit
- Donna is praying about an upcoming dentists appointment to fix a root canal.
- Tony is praying for his son, a job, his mom and family.
- Derek was with us for the first time. Growing up he was in 53 foster homes. He seems like a nice guy and was thankful for everything we could supply.

It was an unusual day where everyone had plenty of time to spend with our friends praying. There was no rush and the weather was nice, which made it a special time for us to care for our friends. thank you to all those who make this ministry possible!
